Laurel Bank Care Home

PBS were tasked with updating this traditional looking care home to create a more relaxing and welcoming environment for residents. The project included moving walls to create new living, office and dining spaces, the creation of a new ‘family room’ with en-suite bathroom, and refurbishment to all corridors and rooms within a designated floor.

Working in a ‘lived in’ care home, PBS kept disruption to a minimum, sectioning off key areas and ensuring all staff knew when and where the team would be working within the home. Undertaking twice weekly covid tests to ensure the safety of the residents and staff, as well as our own team, we were able to complete this project seamlessly in just under 10 weeks.

After

After the initial preparation and build, our team of decorators created a fine finish, resulting in a series of modern yet welcoming living spaces.

Beeches Care Home

PBS delivered a full ground floor refurbishment at this care home, to include: stripping, prepping and decorating of all walls, installation of new handrails, ceiling tiles and light fittings. We also created a new reception hatch and renovated the bedrooms, adding new en-suites and shower rooms. New carpets and vinyl flooring was also installed throughout.

After stripping the walls, it became apparent that the surfaces would need some extra attention – our experienced team were able to work with this, finding a quick solution whilst ensuring the schedule remained on track. The full project was completed within 6 weeks.

After

The grey / neutral colour scheme was designed to create a perfect base for the staff and residents to add their own personal finishing touches. The overall impact was lighter, brighter walkways and a professional, welcoming environment upon entering the home.
